2. Students will relate to the main ideas found in the literary work “A Raisin in the Sun”
by Lorraine Hansberry specifically in ACT II Scene I.
How will we tell if we’re learning it correctly?
Assessment Methods: Students will be completing Vocabulary Exercise for Set 11 and
engaging in an in class reading (Act II)
Checks for Understanding: Students will be called upon (cold called) throughout the reading
in order to make sure they are making complex inferences.
What do I need to be successful?
Materials: Pen/Pencil, Copy of Play “ A Raisin in the Sun”, and Vocabulary Folder
