by Lorraine Hansberry specifically in ACT I Scene I

Assessment Methods: Students will be completing Vocabulary Quiz 9 and engaging in an in
class reading
Checks for Understanding: Quiz Assessment. Students will be called upon (cold called)
throughout the reading in order to make sure they are making complex inferences.

Materials: Pen/Pencil, Copy of Play: A Raisin in the Sun, and Vocabulary Folder
