Objective: I will be able to effectively draft an analysis essay.
1. Draft the Introduction together
2. Discuss Thesis Statements and Topic Sentences: Organizational Strategies in a Paper
3. Guided Rough Draft of Literary Analysis Essay: Complete Outline together in class
Wednesday/Thursday 11/5-11/6
Objective: I will be able to revise and edit my own original piece of analytical writing.
1. Finish Rough Draft Outline together in class
2. Guided Revision and Editing
3. Begin writing the Final Draft in class
Friday 11/7
Objective: I will be able to effectively create, organize, revise and edit a literary analysis essay.
1. Warm Up: Review of Complete Sentences (Mechanics)
2. Finish Final Draft in class & turn in (major grade)
3. Clean out “Working Folders” in preparation for the new cycle!!! 
