Where We’ve Been
 2003-04
o Decision -- Endorsements for AQIP obtained from CASS, Assessment Committee,
Administrative Cabinet, Faculty Caucus, President, and Board of Trustees. NC State
decides to pursue AQIP.
 2004-05
o Application -- Early-On AQIP Supporters organized August 2004, orchestrate AQIP
application, submit application January 2005. NC State accepted by AQIP February
2005.
o Leadership – AQIP Steering Committee established.
o Self-Assessment – AQIP Examiner administered November/December 2004. Data
Mining process completed Summer 2005, identifies three areas as opportunities for
improvement:

 Using Data for Decision-Making
 Strategic Planning
