Area: Beachfront area - paved sidewalk, rock wall lining the river, grass
Surrounding Land Use: 30% beach; 25% industrial/commercial; 5% Urban/Residential,
5% forested; 35% rocky and grassy
Sampling Site: bulkhead lines the shoreline with pier, rock wall, beach, riprap, rocky,
weedy, used for picnics and boats. Pipe enters the river North of the sample site.
Plants in area: none - although noted some algea
Water depth: 2-3 feet deep
River Bottom –rocky then sandy deeper
