ISDS Survey Results 2009 Integrated System Deployment & Support 2009 User Survey Results Page 1 of 42 ISDS Survey Results 2009 Introduction This report is designed to summarize end-user satisfaction with the Integrated System based on the results of annual user surveys. Data was acquired from users at The University of Virginia for the years 2007 (N=908), 2008 (N =1026), and 2009 (N=759). The raw data was cleared of duplicates prior to analysis. Duplicates were eliminated based on the presence of data from repeated logons and from data with identical timestamp information. Responses were also eliminated from the “ease of use” and “helps me do my job more effectively” module analysis if the respondent did not indicate that they had the associated module responsibility. In December of 2006, the UVa Marketplace (an eProcurement system) was implemented to comply with the State’s eVA guidelines per the University’s Charter agreement. A new responsibility, “PO Shopper” was created. PO Shopper Only responses were captured for the first time in the 2007 survey results. The 2007 PO Shopper Only respondents, for the most part, represented first time users of the Integrated System. Twenty eight percent, or 209 out of 758 total 2009 respondents, twenty nine percent, or 302 out of 1026 total 2008 respondents, identified themselves as having ONLY been assigned the PO Shopper responsibility as compared to twenty percent, or 232 out of 908 total 2007 respondents. 2009 Respondent Breakdown Finance / HR 196 26% HR 91 12% PO Shopper Only 209 28% Finance 217 28% ODS Only 45 6% For purposes of comparison with prior years, when responses are broken out by responsibility, the PO Shopper Only respondents were merged with the Finance responses and those respondents who indicated they had both HR & PO Shopper responsibilities were merged with the Finance / HR responses. The Tukey analysis of variance method was used to compare survey responses between years.
