ISDS Survey Results 2006
Introduction
This report is designed to summarize the results of three yearly research surveys intended to assess end-user
satisfaction with the Integrated System. Data were acquired from users at The University of Virginia in the
years 2004 (N = 410), 2005 (N = 733), and 2006 (N = 684)
The raw data was cleared of duplicates prior to analysis. Duplicates were eliminated based on the presence of
data from repeated logons and from data with identical timestamp information. In addition, responses were
eliminated from module analysis of “ease of use” and “helps me do my job more effectively” due to the
responsibility not being assigned to the respondent.

Throughout the three years, users continue to favor Friend/Co-worker and Help Desk as their first and second
choice. However, in the past two years the IS Web Site has replaced IS training manuals as a third choice.
