Responsibilities and benefits associated with these areas are listed below. Responsibilities Participation in a learning community Serve as a resource for new members Advance personal knowledge of assessment, research, and planning via outside readings, conference attendance, and individual learning from assessment implementation Understand how assessment benefits organization Share best practices and disseminate/present findings to interested audiences Become familiar with a variety of assessment methods and tools Collaboration Engaged participation in Assessment Council Serve as a resource in the area of assessment Peer reviews of annual Assessment Reports Leadership within departments & group Provide leadership for ongoing departmental assessment efforts Educate department on assessment Updated 8/21/2013 M.
