Female Cadets must wear a “hair bunt” if hair
is longer than the lower part of the shirt collar.
No ponytails.
Hair Color must be a natural color.
Hair holding ornaments (barrettes, pins, clips),
if used, must be transparent or similar in color
to hair, and will be inconspicuously placed.

How to wear the name plate (Female)
The nameplate is worn 1 to 2 inches above the top
button of the coat and centered horizontally on the
wearer’s right side. On the AG 415 or ASU shirts, the
nameplate is worn in a comparable (similar) position.

How to wear the name plate (Male)
On the AG shade 415 or ASU shirts , and on the coats of
the Army green or ASU , the nameplate is worn
centered left to right on the flap of the right breast pocket,
and centered between the top of the button and the top
of the pocket.

Ribbons: centered on the left side, with the
Shoulder Cords:
No more than 2
cords. District
cord on right side.
(Extra Button)
bottom row positioned parallel to the
bottom edge of the nameplate. May adjust to
body configuration.
Marksmanship Badge: centered 1/4”
below bottom row of ribbons.
Nameplate: is worn 1 to 2 inches above
the top button on the wearer’s right side.
Arcs: centered and 3” below
nameplate. If more than one, they
are 1/8” apart. Adjust to body
configuration.
Distinctive
Unit Insignia (DUI):: centered on right
side 1/8” above star
Honor Unit with Distinction (HUD):
centered ¼” above top of the nameplate
with one of the 5 points of the star straight
up,
Belt: is worn so that the tipped
end passes through the
buckle to the wearer’s right.
Nameplate: is worn 1 to 2 inches between
the second and third button of the shirt on the
wearer’s right side and adjusted to body
configuration.
Cosmetics, lipstick, and nail polish
Females may wear cosmetics if they are
conservative and complement the uniform and
their complexion. Eccentric or exaggerated
cosmetic styles and colors are inappropriate
with the uniform and are prohibited.
Male Uniform (Class B)
Females will not wear shades of lipstick and
nail polish that are extreme. Some examples of
extreme colors include, but are not limited to,
purple, gold, blue, black, white, bright (fireengine) red, khaki, camouflage colors, and
fluorescent colors.
Shoulder Cords: No more
than 2 cords. Only the
District cord will be on
right side.
Ribbons: centered 1/8”
above left pocket. No more
than 3 across.
Marksmanship Badge: centered 1/4”
below bottom row of ribbons. 2 badges
must have 1”between the badges, and
3 badges must be equally spaced.
Only Female Cadets can wear earnings while
in uniform.
Type:
Small silver, gold or white spherical earrings
not to exceed 1/4 inch in diameter.

the pocket and the top of the button on
the wearer’s right side.

A wristwatch and a bracelet are authorized
(multiple bracelets are not authorized).
Male Cadets must be clean-shaven while in
uniform.
Male Cadets are not authorized to wear
earnings while in uniform.
Trousers/Slacks length: A good fit is
when the back crease hits midway
between the top of shoe and the top of
heel and touches shoe laces on the front
crease.
