MPC online courses require you to have:

• A word processing program (e.g.,MS Word)
Technical/Computer Skills Needed
• Knowledge (& use) of web screens/addresses,
ability to navigate/browse the Web, know-how
to organize/save files, & skill in using search
engines (for e.g., using Google)
• File Management (creating folders, saving &
storing files in folders, file naming rules, &
retrieving files are necessary skills)
More Computer Skills Needed
• Basic Word Processing skills: starting/
opening files, typing in text, using spell check,
naming/saving files, & storing/retrieving files.
• Trouble-shooting/Problem Solving skills:
Use the variety of Resources available to you –
For e.g., Your Problem Solving skills, your
instructor/techie/friends skills, & online HELP.
