We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Project Municipal Engineer in our Wilmington, DE office.
This position requires approximately 5 to 10 years of experience and P.E. License, or ability to
obtain P.E. License. Responsibilities include planning, design and permitting of water and
wastewater infrastructure including pump stations, collection systems, force mains, wastewater
treatment, booster stations, transmission mains, water treatment, and water storage. Candidate
will be responsible for the design, management, and review of Pennsylvania and Delaware
municipal projects including stormwater collection and management, roads, paving, and public
works projects. This position also requires experience with the review of Pennsylvania residential
and commercial development plans for compliance with zoning, stormwater management and
public improvement regulations. Must possess the ability to prepare permit applications and
interface with regulatory agencies, and prepare design calculations, drawings, bid documents and
specifications. Candidate will be responsible for major tasks and phases of work, direction of
division staff, scope of work development, and management of budgets and schedules. The
candidate must possess the ability to interface with Clients, Contractors, and Regulators, and
identify potential projects and clients.
