Below are some people/places to find as you “scavenge” your way around Sherwood
Elementary School (S.E.S.)!
Meet Finn, our official mascot! That’s right, you’re a Sherwood Shark!
Meet the office staff. Ms. Curry and Mrs. Rossi work as our secretaries. They will help
keep track of when you are here or when you are missing, answer phones, type, write
letters, and answer questions. They are very smiley, friendly, and knowledgeable about
the whole school!

Mrs. Brewer is our school principal. She helps every student and staff member follow
our guiding principles. Mrs. Brewer really cares about what is best for kids. She works
really hard to keep SES an amazing school!

Ms. Garraway is our Principal Intern. She is excited to join the Sherwood family this year
and learn to become a principal. She was an Assistant Principal at Roscoe Nix ES before
coming to Sherwood. She is working with Mrs. Brewer keep create a positive,
supportive, enriching, safe, and fun experience at Sherwood Elementary!

Each and every day you get to visit the cafeteria for lunch. Meet Ms. Masfar the
cafeteria manager. She helps you get food to fuel your brain and body.

Physical Education or PE with Mr. Gloff is one of our weekly specials. He is new to
Sherwood this year. He helps us learn about our body and how to accurately
accomplish fun goals like climbing rope, gymnastics, and even dancing.

Music is another special where we get to learn about reading music and playing
instruments. Did you know your voice is one of the lightest instruments available? 

Media Center is a great way to keep on reading new materials. Mrs. Rasa and Ms.
Homayouni can help you find great books and learn neat computer activities. They are
the media team.

Do you like to paint? Mrs. Smith will teach you all sorts of art activities, including
painting. She will talk about different types of art and famous artists. Her creativity is
awesome! Meet our Art teacher.

Mrs. Fleming is our school counselor. She’s here to talk to about your feelings. She
helps us learn about how to treat ourselves and others. She is really friendly and wants
to know every single kid at SES.
