Provide support only when needed to avoid frustration. Math Homework • Development of mathematical fluency • Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies. • By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers. • Homework may come in the form of: – Games – Math problems or tasks – Math practice Reading Homework The goal is to read many books and for longer periods of time.
