This course is designed to assist those preparing for the real estate examination. The California Department of Real Estate requires completion of this course, together with Real Estate Practice, RE-163, and one elective real estate course prior to taking the salesperson’s license examination. COURSE OBJECTIVES At the completion of the course the student will be able to: 1. Exhibit knowledge of fundamental real estate terms and concepts. 2. Develop knowledge of the real estate law vocabulary. 3. Be partially prepared to take the Sate of California Real Estate Salesperson examination. 4. Satisfy a portion of the “modular” content required for the California Real Estate Appraiser’s examination. 5. Be prepare for advanced study in specialized courses in real estate.
