Reason for Revisions or Inactivation of Course:
This course is required to maintain the Emergency Medical Service Program Certification. It was mistakenly deactivated in late
2010. The EMED program needs to reactivate it to pass our EMS accreditation in August 2015.

This course allows previously certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) personnel to recertify their license by
completing 24 hours of approved instruction. In addition, students will complete the California mandatory 10psychomotor skills exams outlined on Emergency Medical Skills Association skills competency form. At the
conclusion of the training the student will receive a continuing education certificate worth 24-hours and signed skills
competency form.
