This booklet is to help you remember all the things you did as a 4-H Cloverbud.
At the end of the 4-H year you will be asked to give your book to your Cloverbud leader. We hope you have lots of fun as a 4-H
Cloverbud. Here I am with one of my Cloverbud Projects.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the
United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all .
When repeating the pledge, your right hand should be placed over your heart, which is on the left side.

I Pledge…MY HEAD to clearer thinking
…MY HEART to greater loyalty
…MY HANDS to larger service, and
…MY HEALTH to better living for my club, my community, my country, and my world.
When repeating the pledge, members and leaders raise their right hand to their forehead for the first line, place it over their heart for the second line, extend both palms upward for the third line, and stand erect and at attention for the remainder of the pledge.

The four leaf clover with the letter
“H” on each leaf, which stands for head, heart, hands, and health.
Green and white. Green symbolizes nature’s most common color. White symbolizes purity.
“TO MAKE THE BEST BETTER”
This motto challenges everyone involved in 4-H to do the very best they can.

What is a 4-H Club? A 4-H club is a group of people in your area that meet once a month to learn about 4-H. work together and plan for activities. A 4-H club has an adult leader who tells you about the events and activities happening in your club and county.
