***Update***: Students that successfully complete 4C’s “Introduction to the Child Care Profession”
and “Skills & Strategies for the Child Care Teacher” can receive a total of 3 credits for their work. To
receive the 3 credits, students must enroll in
MATC’s Early Childhood Education Program.

IF YOU NEED HELP, PLEASE REVIEW THE STATE TRAINING REQUIREMENT SHEET.

Class size is limited, so enroll early. Consider yourself enrolled in the class once the 4C office
has received your registration form and fee.
 You are responsible for remembering the time, date and place of the class you registered for.
 If you miss more than two (2) hours of a 40-hour class or one (1) hour of a class that is less than 40
hours, you will not be allowed to complete your scheduled class. You will need to reregister and
pay the full class fee.
 Any student who attends class and is not pre-registered will incur a late registration fee of
$20.00 for a 40hr class and $10.00 for any class less than 40 hours. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!
 If you do not complete or pass your assignments and/or if you fail your test you will need to
reregister & pay the full class fee.
 Refund and transfer requests must be done 5 WORKING DAYS prior to the start of the class and
will be subject to all applicable fees. Refund and transfer requests submitted after this time period
will not be honored.
 Transfer fees - transfer fees are $20 for a 40hr class and $10 for a 20hr or less class. There is only
one (1) approved transfer allowed and the class must be with-in three months of the original class.
 Documents for Transfers must be submitted to 4C with-in 5 business days from actual request.
 Refund fees – All refund requests will be deducted a $10 processing fee.
 There is a $35.00 fee for all returned checks. Students with outstanding balances will not receive
certificates until balance is cleared.
 There is absolutely no student substitution for class.
 Any name spelling or address corrections must be done within 3 months of the completion of the
class or you will need to pay for the replacement of your certificate from the Registry.
 4C reserves the right to change the location of a class at any time if it becomes necessary.
Registered students will be notified in advance of change of location occurs.
 4C reserves the right to cancel a class 2 days prior to the start date of class if it does not meet the
minimum capacity to run the class.
 Guns are not allowed on 4C property.
 If you register over the phone, by Internet or through the mail, it is your responsibility to pick up
your book. If you will be unable to pick up your book because of a time confliction, please make
other arrangements. Our office closes at 4:30p.m.
 Emergency cancellations (i.e. weather) will be broadcast on WTMJ Channel 4 or Radio AM 620.
