By using both comma and a coordinating conjunction. 2. By replacing the comma with a semicolon or a period 3. Only the seven coordinating conjunctions can follow a comma. (and but, or, for, yet) Run On – Is two or more sentences written as one, with no punctuation between them. It is commonly correct by Rewriting the run-on sentence as separate sentences By placing a semicolon between the sentences or by placing a comma and a coordinating conjunction between sentences Fragmentary Sentences – Is a grammatically incomplete statement punctuated as if it were a complete sentence. To avoid a sentence fragment, make sure that your sentence contains at least one independent clause. If it dose not contain an independent clause, it is a fragment
