CRIMINOLOGY AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROGRAM

To apply to the Upper Division Criminology and Criminal Justice Program, you must have (1) completed or must be enrolled in the courses (or equivalent transfer courses) listed below, and (2) must have a minimum of 45 total credit hours prior to admission .

Pre-Criminology and Criminal Justice Course

Requirements include:

Minimum of 6 hours from:

English - 101, 150, 151, 250, 252, 254, 258

Math 100A, 101, 103, 104 or 106

CJ 101 – Survey of Criminal Justice

(Minimum grade of ‘C-’ or above)

CJ 251 - Research Methods OR

3 Hours

3 Hours

SOCI 205 - Intro Soc Research

(Minimum grade of ‘C-’ or above)

Minimum of 6 hours from:

CJ 203 - Police & Society

CJ 211 - Criminal Court System

CJ 221 - Survey of Corrections

(Minimum grade of ‘C-’ or above)
