Entry Deadline
 Mailed-in registration needs to be postmarked March 1, 2010
 Email registration will be accepted till midnight of March 1, 2010
Payment
Entry fee must be paid at the time of registration.
Member/Resident/Non-Resident
 A member is someone who belongs to the Brushy Creek Community Center.
 A Resident is someone who is NOT a member of the Brushy Creek Community Center but resides within Brushy Creek Municipal
Utility District (BCMUD).
 A Non-Resident is someone who is neither a member nor resident.
Scoring System: Rally Points Scoring System
 A match consists of the best of 3 games of 21 points.
 The side winning a rally adds a point to its score.
 At 20 all, the side which gains a 2 point lead first, wins that game.
 At 29 all, the side scoring the 30th point, wins that game.
 The side winning a game serves first in the next game.
 We reserve the right to adjust the consolation draws scoring system to 1 game of 30 points (instead of the best of 3 games of 21
points) under time constraint circumstances.
Events
 Each participant can enter a Maximum of 3 events overall.
 Participants are guaranteed at least 2 games per events entered.
 Some events may be combined if there are insufficient entries to make up the event.
 Each event will have a Main Draw and a Consolation Draw. In some events, it may be a round-robin format.
What's Included?
Shuttles, Light Lunch on Saturday, and a small gift will be provided to participants. Awards, Prizes, or Gift Certificates will be
presented to the winners.
Default Rule
If your game is called, you have 5 minutes to report to the court and start the match. The 5-minute default rule is strictly
enforced.
Cancellation
If you are unable to attend the tournament after submitting your entry form, please inform Betsy (b.schultz@bcmud.com) or
Chern-Nee (chernnee@yahoo.com) BEFORE March 5th. Refund will be provided to players if the notification is provided PRIOR to
March 5th.
Event Requirements
 Open Event - No Restrictions
 B Event - Beginner to Low Intermediate Players. Players who have previously won this event are not allowed to participate.
 Senior Event - Men (40+), Women (35+)
