• Convention: rules made based on the agreement of the
society to support or to implement them
• Tradition: a range of rules or habits fixed by the society
and followed by generation to generation.

• Innovation: is a change of a certain tradition by
introducing new techniques, points of view
• The social norms and values of a certain area or social
context influence and are reflected in its literary works.
So literature and culture are interrelated and cannot be
separated.
