Spring Break Travel Brochure
Scenario: You have out of town guests and need to come up with a plan of activities for spring
break. They want to have fun, tour the Houston area, but don’t want to spend a lot of money.
You want to do some things you’ve never done before. You also need to have a list of things to
do if the weather is bad. You want to create a travel guide brochure or other visual for your
guest.
Be sure your project includes:



A list of low-cost or free real activities to do in the Houston area. Include the cost of
each activity and visuals.
A list of places to visit so your guest will learn about the Houston area. Include the cost
of each activity and visuals.
A list of fun things to do in case the weather is bad. Include the cost of each activity and
visuals.
You will have 60 minutes to prepare in class on Weds./Thurs.
You will have the last 30 minutes for groups to present on Weds./Thurs. Each group member
must have a role in the presentation.
