Summary Statement: State the major function(s) of the position and its role in the university. The Coordinator, Video-Athletic Programs, videotapes all University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) Wolf Pack sporting events, including practices and games; editing and processing opponent and self-scout cut-ups using the Pinnacle Sports Pro computer system; serving as liaison with coaches on all aspects of videotaping and production by coordinating video and video equipment, operation and managing all video equipment, and training and supervising student workers. The position produces promotional videos for the purpose of recruiting, fundraising, and promotion of the Intercollegiate Athletics Department. The Coordinator reports to the Associate Athletics Director, Communications. 2. List the major responsibilities, including percentage of time devoted to each. Level of Freedom: Athletics is one of the most publicly visible programs on campus. The video taken and organized by this position is disseminated throughout the country to Division I institutions. It is also distributed to the National Football League, National Basketball Association, and other major sports leagues. Promotional videos are seen by the community, boosters, ticket buyers, and recruits both locally and nationally. Impact: The performance of the video coordinator impacts not only the reputation and credibility of the Intercollegiate Athletics Department, but also the university. 4.
