Summary Statement: State the major function(s) of the position and its role in the university. The Assistant Director is the primary service provider to students who qualify for ADA and Section 504 accommodations offered through the Disability Resource Center (DRC). Under the supervision of the DRC Director, the Assistant Director arranges for approved accommodations for DRC students including note taking services, auxiliary aids, alternative media and the use of assistive technology. The Assistant director also assists in the development and implementation of appropriate assessment tools in the evaluation of DRC programs and services, and supervises and evaluates DRC staff persons directly reporting to the Assistant Director. 2.
