Purpose of the meeting - Quarter 5 meeting is intended to review study requests and
prioritize the study request outlined in Attachment K

Transmission study plan posted on OASIS in December 2008
o No comments or edits have been received
o Is not required to be posted until July 2009
o Will keep it in draft format until the required posting

Clustering and prioritization of studies
o If there are studies in our queue, we would cluster them together and do
one study that makes the most sense and economically sound
o This process is posted on OASIS
o Must following queuing request
o We are required to accept economic study request and cluster them as
feasible
o Perform up to 1 study in Q1 and Q2
o Apply to the NTTG mechanize

Established a format for focus group meeting incorporate into the planning studies
o No external callers attended
 This is not a requirement

Time line
o Western part is divided into 17 study area
o 4-6 studies a year

Pendleton – Hermiston area is under way
o Kick-off meeting was posting on OASIS
 No external callers attended

East side has 4 studies planned for 2009
o South Eastern (Goshen)
o Studies complete third quarter 2009

Background interest from other entities have express interest in being apart of
the study

Kick off meetings will be posted on OASIS

Business practice document
o Added a TSP link
o Looking for feedback on update
o Contact information is easy to find
o E-mail list is also listed on the document
o Cost allocation information would be discussed in a
o Integrated resources plan how the transmission plan is considered with
putting together the IRP

