On January 11, 2013 at 3:04 PM, an Alcoa Power Generating, Inc – Tapoco (APGI – Tapoco) employee
inadvertently released transmission/reliability information regarding the base case Facility Ratings of
APGI-Tapoco and Smoky Mountain Transmission (SMT) assets to a Marketing Function Employee at
Alcoa Power Marketing LLC (APM), a subsidiary of APGI. As this information has been deemed CEII by
the Transmission Owner, APGI - Tapoco is posting only notice of the information disclosure as required
