Precalculus, Mathmatics for Calculus, James Steward, Lothar Redlin, and Saleem Watson.
Graphic Calculator: TI - 83, Texas Instruments graphic calculator.
Attendance: You are expected to attend every class meeting. If you miss a class, you are responsible for
finding what you missed (e.g., notes, homework, quizzes, announcements, schedule changing, etc.) and
completing all work on time.
Homework: Homework will be assigned daily and should be completed by the next class meeting.
Grading Policy: There are four tests. Each test counts for 15% of the term grade. The Final exam is
cumulative and comprehensive and the final exam counts for 30%. class participation, the performance in
the class, quizzes, and projects will count for 10%. The term grade (letter grade) will be determined by the
scale: 90-100 A; 80-89 B; 70-79 C; 60-69 D; 0-59 F.
Make-up Policy: There are no make-ups. You may replace the lowest test grade by the grade of the final
exam.
