New Director of Women's Studies!
Women's Studies welcomes Dr. Susana Peña as the new Director of the Women's Studies! Dr.
Peña is an Associate Professor from the department of Ethnic Studies. She received her Ph.D.
from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and specializes in Latino/a Studies, Sexuality
Studies, Cultural Studies and race and ethnicity. Dr. Peña will be managing the day to day
aspects of the program and serving as the advisor to graduate students seeking the Certificate in
Women's Studies. A special thanks goes to Dr. Radhika Gajjala for serving as interim Director
during 2009-2010.
