1. Why do you want to be an Opening Weekend Group Leader? What excites you about this opportunity
and what are you hoping to gain from the experience?
2. How have you demonstrated being a role model and positive representative of the Bowling Green State
University community?
3. During Opening Weekend, you will be mentoring and guiding a group of first-year students. What do you
think will be the most challenging part and how will you overcome it?
4. Describe the impression you believe Opening Weekend should have on new students. What lasting
impact would you hope to leave on the first-year students at BGSU? Be specific!
