Evelyn O. Bychinsky Award This award is given to undergraduate students who show promise in mathematics deserving of recognition and encouragement. Evelyn Bychinsky was a 1933 alumna of the University. She did not major in Mathematics but took many math courses and later taught math at Michigan State. She was a Certified Public Accountant and maintained an office in Ann Arbor for many years. The Bychinsky Awards were established through a bequest by Irene Bychinsky Bendler, sister of Evelyn Bychinsky.
