President
Position Purpose:
The president is responsible for leading the executive team and LU SHRM in congruence with the organizational
mission. The President must lead by example, working closely with the Advisor and the Vice President to plan
meetings and activities. The President must also work closely with executives to ensure each understands their
respective tasks and duties and complete all projects as assigned.
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the overall success of the organization’s mission and goals
2. Work with executive team to develop organizational, strategic, and measurable goals
3. Schedule and facilitate executive meetings to keep accountability and organization within the team
4. Lead the Executive Team to maximize the use of each individual’s talents and skills
5. Maintain consistent communication with executive team to ensure organizational success
6. Oversee the completion of departmental goals in tandem with Vice President
7. Seek and ensure the faculty advisor’s expertise is effectively utilized

Vice President
Position Purpose:

1. Work directly with the President to ensure organizational mission is accomplished
