Possibilities for increasing the density of the new student residences planned for Duryard, although the number of bedspaces had been reduced to 650 by the ECC planners. Planning application for the INTO building – disagreement with the planners over building materials on the elevations. AGREED: Stuart Franklin to lead on the PR campaign around Exeter’s response to the affordable housing consultation. A PR audit of all planning applications should be undertaken before submission to ensure appropriate wording and phraseology. Exeter would be prepared to compromise and allow the back and side elevations of the INTO building to be built in brick. Following approval of the investment appraisal for the Business School at Council on 19 October, a Project Management Group chaired by Jeremy Lindley (with Neil Armstrong leading on content) to be established.
