Provides radiation protection for radiologist, self, others, and closes door Introduces radiologist to patient Assists radiologist appropriately during examination Monitors and communicates with patient during the fluoroscopic examination Takes charge of the examination after the radiologist leaves Post Procedure Performs overhead images as directed Removal and proper disposal of enema tip and barium bag Provides appropriate patient care while assisting the patient to the restroom Properly organizes radiographic images and records for radiologist reading Completes necessary paperwork Gives patient appropriate post examination instructions. Completes exam in a reasonable amount of time.
