I am so excited to work with each of your students this year in Spanish.
I can’t wait to see what they all know and to work with them to develop
a love for language learning. Each student at Sojourner School has 60
minutes of Spanish each week. In our time together, students will sing
songs, play games, read books in Spanish, and be exposed to Spanish
language vocabulary and grammar.
There are many ways for your children to practice their new language
skills at home, even if you don’t speak Spanish.

Books in Spanish are available from the public library
(Milwaukie’s Ledding Library has a fair selection), as well as
books in English about Spanish and Latin Culture.
Duolingo is an ad-free language-learning app that can be accessed
from a mobile device or computer. If you and your child access the
site via the link on my website (also available below), I can
interact with them and their use and practice via the web.

There are various age appropriate activities in Spanish on the PBS
