I am interested in serving a on the Campus Library Advisory Council of WKU. I have been a
faculty member for nearly fifteen years and would like to put my experience to use on this
important assignment.
Obviously a library plays a pivotal role in the any institution of higher learning and I would
welcome the opportunity to help shape the future of the library, and by extension the University
community as a whole. I have a background in teaching economics and leadership and believe
that these two disciplines are well suited to the position.
I hold several degrees from WKU and so I am very aware of the way in which the library and its
resources helped shape my educational experience. I would welcome this role and hope you will
give my interest full consideration.
