Provide excellent customer service and office assistance to all who enter the employment office/computer lab. Greet
students, answer telephones, take messages, and provide students with job resource information and employment
sites. Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and able to create Excel Spreadsheets for reporting, send out mass
emails. Contact students and employers via telephone and e-mails on a regular basis. General office duties, copying,
scanning, etc. Assist with lab equipment, materials and lab resources. Assist students with setting up HCC Student
Profiles and Resumes. Assist w/ Events.
Dress Code
Business Casual / Business Professional for job fairs & special events.

The student will further develop their MS Office/Word, Excel, Power Point and software capabilities. Students who meet the
qualifications of English 1301 will further develop their writing and grammatical skills. Enhance customer service, people skills,
communication and leadership abilities. Develop patience and professionalism abilities through communicating courteously and
effectively with a diverse population. Students will further develop their organizational and creative skills. Learn how to work
effectively with colleagues and students by practicing respect for deadlines, collaborative problem solving and teamwork.
