The contract will be initially for a period of six months w.e.f. the date of signing of agreement further extendable on mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance. His contract appointment shall also be terminable on one month prior notice from either side. In case of his resignation without prior notice, his one month consultancy charges shall be forfeited to
KMU.
The consultant (Paramedics) shall:
(i) Full time consultant and attend the office regularly.
(ii) Facilitate the university in launching the BS.c program in paramedics
(iii) In conjunction with KMU authorities, setting up a strategic vision for the paramedics institute of the university and to formulate the paramedics policy for
KMU.
(iv) Device, implement paramedics plans, programs and projects within the realm of
KMU vision, mission and objectives set forth in agreeable timings.
(v) Manage, lead and interact proactively with other paramedics
Institutions/organizations to collaborate in achieving the desired goals of KMU.
(vi) Report progress achieved in executing the planned paramedics programs etc.
(vii) Collaborate with the provincial health department to establish, promote and conduct paramedics program/practices etc.
(viii) Deliver lectures, as a resource person, on paramedics topics as and when required.
(ix) Coordinate with all paramedics related activities with stakeholders and conduct workshops, if required.
(x) Develop a paramedics training program for capacity building of faculty and related staff members on existing as well as newly emerging health topics and to identify / mobilize resources, prior approval of the competent authorities be sought out to implement the program.
(xi) Direct the evaluate the performance of the staff of Paramedics.
(xii) Perform such other advisory and managerial duties as may be specified by the
Vice Chancellor and other authorities from time to time.

Consultancy Charges: Negotiable
Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in accordance with the provisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act, 2012 and Financial Rules of Khyber
Medical University. Final decision will be that of the Vice Chancellor KMU and it shall not be challengeable in the court of Law.
