Commuter Communities Leader Application
Description: Community Leaders facilitate an environment of fellowship, prayer,
spiritual, and personal growth for commuter students in their community. Responsibilities
will include praying for commuters daily, contacting their group weekly, holding
regularly scheduled group meetings, attending Commuter Services scheduled events, and
supporting Commuter Services ministry initiatives.
About Commuter Communities: Commuter Communities are off-campus student
groups intended to connect commuter students together to study scripture, pray, meal
fellowship, and community outreach. Communities are designed to develop positive
discipleship relationships, engage with their local community, and live in obedience to
Jesus.
Commuter Communities will serve as a means to reach students and community
members for Christ. Groups of students living out the Gospel in community will provide
non-believers a testimony of true love (John 13:34-35).
Qualifications for Leadership:
 Active, growing believer and follower of Christ
 Frequent attendance and involvement with a local Church
 Full agreement with the Doctrinal Statement of Liberty University
 Sign the CSER 392-001 Commuter Communities Leader contract of service
