Patrick Dunne Group Communications Director, 3i A Cranfield alumnus, Patrick is Marketing and Communications director for 3i Group plc and a member of its Operating Committee. With operations in Europe, Asia and the Americas 3i has £13 billion of assets under management. He did his first degree in Mathematics and Statistics at The University of Warwick and prior to gaining his MBA at Cranfield and joining 3i in 1985, spent four years in the Chemical industry with Air Products. He is a member of the General Council of Warwick University, a Visiting Professor at Cranfield School of Management and Chairman of the charity LEAP – Confronting Conflict, the UK’s leading charity in the area of youth and conflict. In 2006 Patrick founded Warwick in Africa, a charity which is transforming the teaching of Maths and English in some of the poorest schools in Ghana, South Africa and Tanzania. Warwick in Africa has already benefited over 90,000 young Africans and is growing rapidly.
