Please submit your typed application to the SGA office in Cravens 013 or as an email attachment to
sga@wku.edu. Include the application form and the faculty recommendation. Applicants under
consideration may be contacted to schedule an interview with SGA representatives. Please note that
the awards for study abroad/student teach abroad will be a maximum of $300 per academic term.
Students can be awarded up to $600 per academic year. A student who studies or teaches abroad
before his/her award is granted will be reimbursed by SGA. On average, award recipients have a
minimum GPA of 3.0. Also, all applications will be on a rolling acceptance basis, beginning on March
8th and ending on March 29th. It is to your advantage to submit your application and faculty
recommendation as early as possible. All incomplete applications or applications submitted after
March 29th will not be considered.
