This galaxy produced supernova 1968E.

C8 at 65x. Faint and oblong (E-W), and in a moderate field. It has either a stellar
nucleus or a dim field star on the same line of sight. There seems to be an extremely faint
star on the W side, and a pair of 9m and 10m stars lies 5 min N.
