Self Assessment Excerpt
 Rio Hondo College implemented a new strategic
planning process, involving all levels of the college,
to better evaluate institutional effectiveness and tie
planning to resource allocation.
 The new process also links student learning
outcomes, program review, and enrollment
strategies to institutional planning.
 Rio Hondo has placed a priority on strengthening
institutional effectiveness utilizing ARCC data and
other key performance indicators in the planning
process to improve success for RHC students.
 Planning decisions are based on quantitative and
qualitative analysis to focus the strategic direction
and better serve students in the future.
