LAKE ZURICH HIGH SCHOOL PRODUCTION OF “THE SPARROW” CANCELLED
(Lake Zurich, IL) – In light of recent events surrounding the arrest of Lake Zurich High School drama
teacher Ronald D. Culver, Superintendent Mike Egan has canceled the production of the play “The
Sparrow”. The play was scheduled to begin this Thursday with shows throughout the weekend. The
cancellation was announced this afternoon before cast, crew, and parents of the production. Future
district drama productions such as the children’s theater and spring musical are scheduled to proceed as
planned. The district will begin actively seeking a replacement for Culver.
