Understanding was assessed with
a written quiz given at the end of
the course. The quiz had
questions covering the three main
(broad) areas of digital pixel
imaging; spatial resolution, tonal
resolution, and pixel file formats.
The level of understanding in
each area was assessed by
aggregating results in respective
areas.
Overall averaged quiz score was
81 %, with 77% correct in the
spatial resolution section, 76%
correct in the tonal resolution
section, and 85% correct in the
pixel file format section. (see
attached)
This is a one-credit workshop
emphasizing software processes,
however, more time will be spent
emphasizing spatial and tonal
resolution in class, to ensure a
clear understanding of those
concepts.
