Assessed via written assignments
and questions on a quizlexam.
Students' overall average was
90% on this assignment. The
concept was well discussed in
class and has been previously
introduced to students during the
Research Method course (PSY
240) that is pre-requisite for PSY
275.
Results will be shared with PSY
240 instructor to reinforce the
way the concept is taught.
Understanding ofiRB is essential
for this course and instructor
needs to keep this assignment at
a mastery level of 80%.
Student's overall average on
articles summaries was 85%.
For data collection and analysis
the overall average of students
was 65%, with this low average
probably due to inability to work
in group.
For future semesters the

collection and analysis
assignment with more rigorous
details and enforce to students
that data collect has to be done in

time to develop communication
skills, work in group
responsibility, and critical

With more rigorous writing

able to expect more from
students and students will have
more time and opportunity to
develop data collection, analysis
and critical thinking skills with
instructor supervision.
Students were assessed through a
I to 2 pages writing assignment
where they were expected to
identify the IRB and all the steps
involved in the process of getting
approved to perfonn research
with human subjects.
Assessed by research reports
with collected and analyzed data
via a rubric designed by the
instructor.
For the literature review students
