A prescribed form will be used
for the observation. A grading
rubric will be used.
Students were able to write an
observation in paragraph form
and add a critical thinking page to
match the development of the
child and what they learned in
class. i.e. text, lectures, videos.
Observations are an appropriate
tool for the students to learn. I
give the students many
instructions and examples how to
do an observation. I explain to
them techniques in class on how
to do an observation. I try to have
one observation done during our
class period by inviting children
to the classroom. I will continue
to do this because I am available
to help them during their
observation.
I will continue with these
outcomes.
Students gave instructions in
their projects on how to make
toys that were appropriate for
the age groups (0-3). The
students also made one of the
items and shared with the
class. I assessed the activity
on what age eroup, safety,
I will continue to use this
activity because I feel it
teaches students through an on
hands experience. It is
important for the students to
know what activities are age
appropriate for small children.
