This highly interactive workshop will provide participants with promising
practices in aligning project design with the outcomes in the five student equity
indicator areas. Participants will gain insights towards strengthening project
design and evaluating student success.

resources and provide you with information so that you can empower your
students to think about transfer. Examples of information to be covered: (UC
TAP, Golden 4, UC/CSU GPA, TAG, CSU Mentor, Transfer Center Website,
Offering extra credit assignments for vising the TC, meeting with reps,
attending workshops and tours)
This session is for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and

mentor for our future teachers. It will talk about Rio Hondo’s STEM-CTE I
Teach program and how faculty can get involved by becoming a mentor.

students who are or have been placed in the foster care system. Information on
how growing up in this system can affect academic outcomes as well as what is
being done at the state and campus level to support foster youth will be
reviewed.
