University of La Verne and Rio Hondo College General Education Transfer Agreement Plan Track I 2015-2016 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Students who matriculate into the University of La Verne and who are fully certified for the California State University General Education-Breadth (CSU-GE) pattern or the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) from a regionally accredited California Community College will be credited with fulfilling all of La Verne's General Education-Breadth requirement with the exception of the Foreign Language requirement depending on the student's declared major. If a student wishes to fulfill GE or major requirements through transfer courses after having already met or reached the 88 unit limit, he or she may transfer the credit for subject area fulfillment, but will not be awarded additional semester hour credit. The particular GE Requirement will be fulfilled by a 0-unit course marker. There is no limit to the number transfer credits that will be accepted by the University for students admitted prior to Fall 2013.
