General Service Technician
The courses listed in the Certificate of Achievement are comprised of a comprehensive list of job
related skills needed to acquire general automotive skills. The skills acquired during class will
prepare an individual for entry-level employment as a light-duty service technician such as a
Lube Technician or positions with a franchised repair facility.
To acquire the Certificate of Achievement in General Service Technician, it is necessary to
complete the following courses with a grade of “C” or better:

Underhood Service
AUTO 103 Introduction to Automotive Service and Repair:
Undercar Service
AUTO 106 Automotive Electrical Tools and Diagnostic Procedures
