STUDENT DIVERSITY SURVEY II 1 INTRODUCTION Thank you for completing this second survey on diversity which will help us to evaluate our efforts to include Cultural Diversity in your education. Questions in this survey are similar to the ones you answered earlier, but they more specifically address your experiences since the beginning of the quarter. As with the first survey, we want you to keep the following definition of Cultural Diversity in mind when answering the questions below: Cultural Diversity is the result of differences between people in terms of their ethnicity, race, nationality, language, age, economic or social class position, physical or mental abilities, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. Please do NOT put your name on this survey. We want your responses to remain completely anonymous, so that neither your instructor nor anyone else will be able to connect you with your answers. Participation in these surveys is voluntary. You may choose to answer all, some, or none of the questions. We appreciate your participation; your input is valuable in helping us to improve cultural diversity education on our campus. If you have already filled out this second survey in one of your other classes during the last two weeks, we thank you and ask you not to do it again. Just return this blank copy to your instructor. If you have questions about this survey, please contact Susanne Bohmer (4256401128, Alderwood 256, sbohmer@edcc.edu).
